Bla Bheinn (pronounced blah vin) B&B is located in the heart of The Isle of Skye and has lovely views to The Red Cuillin and to the northern end of The Black Cuillin ridge. With large en-suite rooms, a king size bed and a double sofa in each room, plus an infra red sauna, you are assured of a relaxing and comfortable stay whilst visiting the island.
The website shows current bed and breakfast availability and prices as well as detailed information on our rooms, the local area and walks.
Our accommodation - we only have 2 B & B rooms - is extremely spacious and well equipped with sofas - no sitting on your bed to watch tv or drink a cuppa - satellite tv/DVD, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/herbal tea, small fridge with fresh milk and are en-suite with luxurious bath robes and complimentary toiletries. We offer an extensive breakfast menu and can provide packed lunches and evening meals upon request.
There is so much to see on Skye that we recommend at least 2 nights so you have the opportunity to see the island rather than just drive through it. We are happy to provide guidance, as well as the loan of local walk books and maps. If you are interested in hill walking, Steve has a good knowledge of the island and can advise on routes but be aware the mountains require a great deal of respect and the weather changes quickly! Wifi internet access is available (broadband permitting!) and we are happy to make any further reservations etc for guests as required.
Please note that we are both child and pet friendly as we have 2 daughters (12 and 2) and a Westie called Hamish, unfortunately our cat, Angus, has gone to pussycat heaven after a short illness. All we ask is that all furry guests stay off the sofas and beds.
Like the majority of B&Bs, we are a NO SMOKING establishment.
